               Anurag Kashyap's abstract movie 'No Smoking' got mixed response on the box-office and not many accepted it. But not many know that Anurag Kashyap got this idea during the making of the movie 'Satya' (1998). Ram Gopal Varma narrated a story to Anurag about a chain smoker's encounter with someone who despises smoking which was also shown in RGV's 'Darna Marna Hai'.  Afterwards, Anurag's assistant in 'Black Friday' narrated a script about a chain smoker who wakes up one morning without cigarettes and was unable to get them even because of a curfew outside.
