People pay Rs 100 for a 'Mughal-e-Azam' movie

The extravagant 'Mughal-e-Azam' is indubitably one of the most classic films ever made in Bollywood.

For this classic movie, Maratha Mandir, a popular theatre of Mumbai was 100% booked for the first seven weeks.

And the tickets sell like hot cakes. The original price of the ticket was Rs. 1.50 and people bought the tickets in black for Rs. 100.

Not only this, real, heavy chains were used to tie up Madhubala to make the scenes and the pain on her face look real; which later on caused bruises on her body.
